During this period, approximately 1,400 professionals will join the regular workforce to carry out maintenance work and upgrade the facilities.<\/p>\n<p>Ence will place innovation at the heart of the annual shutdown, in which it will invest more than \u20ac13 million. The company will focus on advancing automation and deploying AI-based advanced control systems to optimise operations, speed up real-time decision-making and maximise the reliability of the facilities.<\/p>\n<p>These measures will help improve the plant\u2019s operational efficiency, raise industrial safety standards and enhance the environmental performance of its processes, reaffirming Ence\u2019s commitment to innovation and excellence within the sector.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Commitment to the local economy<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The initiative also strengthens Ence\u2019s commitment to the socio-economic development of Pontevedra and the surrounding area by creating employment and new opportunities for local businesses. The arrival of these professionals will also boost activity in related sectors, including hospitality and accommodation.<\/p>\n<p>This impact will be further enhanced by the involvement of a significant number of Galician contractors, helping to spread the benefits of the project across the region.
