These free and personalized consultations aim to enhance both the productivity and sustainability of forest lands across the Northwest of the Iberian Peninsula, with an impact on more than 4,000 hectares to date.<\/p>\n<p>This technical advisory service, which began in June 2023, reflects Ence\u2019s strong commitment to sustainable and responsible management of eucalyptus plantations. It involves sharing best practices to improve forest productivity and sustainability. Ence Terra also works to strengthen the development and competitiveness of partner companies, facilitating access to resources, tools, machinery, and training.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Creating greater value in rural areas<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ence Terra encourages collaboration among landowners to form larger forest management units, which enables more efficient, secure, and profitable operations. These synergies help reduce risks such as wildfires and pests, while creating greater environmental, social, and economic value in rural settings.<\/p>\n<p>The company recently incorporated soil analysis into its services, enabling tailored fertilization based on the specific characteristics of each plot. So far, Ence Terra has carried out 1,230 soil analyses across the Northwest and continues to expand its area of action.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Driving the future of the forestry sector<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ence Terra offers forest owners the deep expertise of its technical team, supporting them throughout the entire production cycle\u2014from selecting the best-suited plant species for each plot, to choosing the right fertilization, recommending silvicultural operations, and even advising on the optimal time for harvesting to maximize wood yield.<\/p>\n<p>It also promotes technical workshops and dialogue in dozens of rural communities each year, and fosters grouped forest management, all with the goal of encouraging efficient and sustainable forestry production.<\/p>\n<p>Through these initiatives, the company seeks to share its experience and knowledge across the entire forestry sector, with the aim of continuing to drive decarbonization of the economy and support the development of rural areas through the supply of wood-derived products\u2014such as pulp and renewable biomass energy\u2014which are natural, renewable, and form the foundation of a circular bioeconomy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ence Terra, an initiative launched by Ence in 2023 to consolidate the company\u2019s forestry activity, has reached over 2,000 technical advisory sessions provided to forest owners\u2014600 of them just in the current year.
