Ence, a leading company in the pulp and renewable energy sectors, has launched a new edition of its Talent Programme at its biofactory in Pontevedra. This initiative, now in its tenth year, has welcomed nearly 160 participants since its inception. It is designed to support the entry of recent university graduates into the job market through a structured training and employment pathway.<\/p>\n

The one-year programme will welcome ten graduates in engineering degrees related to the industrial, energy, and environmental sectors. It combines specialist training with a practical approach, all under the guidance of highly experienced and reputable professionals within the company and the wider industry.<\/p>\n

Talent attraction<\/strong>
\nThis new edition of the Talent Programme in Pontevedra complements the one already in place at the company\u2019s biofactory in Navia, which has involved nearly 95 participants to date, as well as similar initiatives rolled out at the industrial sites of its renewable energy subsidiary, Magnon.<\/p>\n

Magnon Green Energy, Spain\u2019s leading biomass manager and a frontrunner in renewable energy generation from forest and agricultural biomass, operates eight independent power plants: three in Huelva, two in the province of Ciudad Real, and one each in C\u00f3rdoba, Ja\u00e9n and M\u00e9rida. Magnon has been running its Talent Programme at these industrial sites since 2018, with nearly 130 participants joining the initiative since then.<\/p>\n

\nAll of this reinforces Ence\u2019s commitment to the future of younger generations and its drive to attract young talent, fostering a diverse and inclusive working environment. This is a key part of its 2024\u20132028 People Strategic Plan and is reflected in its certifications as a Top Employer 2025 and a Great Place to Work. The latter, awarded for the fifth consecutive year, consolidates the company\u2019s position as one of the best employers and workplaces, both in Spain and internationally.<\/p>\n
