During the first half of 2022, Magnon’s Castilian-La Mancha plants have generated 195 GWh, enough energy to cover the electricity needs of almost 150,000 people. In other words, this figure corresponds to 30% of the inhabitants of the province of Ciudad Real, where the two renewable energy plants operate.<\/p>\n

The company has two biomass power generation centers in Castilla La Mancha: Biollano, located in Puertollano, and Enemansa, located in Villarta de San Juan. Both represent an important economic engine for the province, providing sustainable and quality employment through an activity that contributes to the decarbonization of the Spanish electricity system. Specifically, Magnon’s plants have a social impact of more than 1,600 jobs, according to data provided by the Association of Renewable Energy Companies (APPA).<\/p>\n

The generation of energy with biomass is not only a paradigm of the circular economy, but also avoids the mismanagement of agroforestry remains, which results in their abandonment in natural spaces and, on numerous occasions, an uncontrolled burning of them, with serious environmental consequences. A good management of these remains protects the mountains and, in addition, helps the stability of the system, since the energy produced through biomass is the only renewable manageable.<\/p>\n

Inaugurated at the beginning of 2020, Biollano 50 MW is an example of energy transition, since Ence used the old Site of Elcog\u00e1s for the construction of this plant, which allowed to maintain quality industrial employment, contributing to the dynamization of the economy of the area and favoring the decarbonization of the Spanish energy system.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, Enemansa, has been providing energy to the Ciudad Real area for almost 20 years. This plant is at the forefront of technology at the environmental level, with the most sophisticated purification systems on the market, which again result in its excellence in terms of sustainability.<\/p>\n

Magnon’s commitment to Castilla La Mancha is firm. The company continues to bet on promoting the social and economic development of the area through different branches of its activity. A clear example is the Sarmiento Project, which provides a sustainable solution for the pruning remains of the region and which created, over the past year, 150 direct jobs in 40 Castilian municipalities of La Mancha.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
