Industrial Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Barcelona, \u200b\u200bMBA from EADA (Barcelona School of Management and Administration) and Senior Leadership Program from IMD (Switzerland), Marc brings a solid experience in the industrial and renewable energy sector.<\/p>\n<p>His arrival at Ence coincides with a time when the company is firmly committed to investing in the renewable energy business, with a focus on electricity generation with biomass and photovoltaics, as well as the development of new formulas that, such as storage , allow progress towards security of supply and offer support to the electricity system.<\/p>\n<p>As highlighted by the new CEO of Ence Energ\u00eda, Marc G\u00f3mez, \u201cwe have a lot to contribute to the manageability of the system, generating renewable energy and helping to promote the presence of these sources of electricity production. An exciting and challenging task, strongly linked to notions such as rural development and sustainability \u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Marc G\u00f3mez replaces Felipe Torroba who, since 2018, has held the positions of General Director of Energy and CEO of Ence &#8211; Energ\u00eda. A period in which the company has consolidated its role as a benchmark for renewable energy with biomass and has opted for the development of photovoltaic assets in Andalusia, Castilla-La Mancha and Extremadura. Felipe Torroba will remain in the company, and will continue to carry out his excellent work from the Finance Department, taking care of the M &amp; A area.<\/p>\n<p>For the President of Ence &#8211; Energ\u00eda y Celulosa, Ignacio Colmenares, &#8220;these changes reinforce the competitiveness and efficiency of the company.&#8221; Specifically, \u201cthe arrival of Marc G\u00f3mez represents a step forward in our commitment to renewable energy.
