The director of Human Capital of Energy at Ence, Inés López, has delivered today, at the Red Cross Huelva headquarters, more than 160 toys with which the company has collaborated this year with the annual ‘Huelva es Solidaria’ campaign .

This special delivery for Their Majesties the Three Wise Men of the East has been the result of the individual contributions of the people who make up Ence’s workforce in Huelva, together with the collaboration of the company, to achieve the objective pursued by this citizen movement: to comply with the illusions of the girls and boys of Huelva families in vulnerable situations.

For the third year, Ence’s workforce in Huelva has collaborated by contributing their own donations in recent weeks, donations that the company has multiplied to achieve the shipment of illusions that representatives of ‘Huelva es Solidaria’ and managers have received today at the Huelva Red Cross, the entity in charge of distributing the toys.

For Ence, this gesture is a way of recognizing the citizen effort that this solidarity movement has achieved in its five previous editions, and also of supporting it in a particularly complicated year in which many more families are in situations of extreme vulnerability as a result of the economic and social crisis caused by the pandemic.

For the manager of Ence in Huelva, Diego Lamela, “being aware of the extreme needs of this year and the citizen aspect of this movement is what motivates us the most to collaborate, since it is a way of feeling even closer to society Huelva for which we work ”.

‘Huelva es Solidaria’ collects new and non-violent toys for the neediest families in Huelva until December 28. Afterwards, the Red Cross will be in charge of personally preparing the shipments that will depart to the East and will return in January to guarantee the illusion of all the girls and boys in Huelva on such an important date.

In this way, the company wants to endorse its commitment to people inside and outside its facilities, while complying with one of the core criteria of its sustainable management policy, which is to take care of and strengthen relations with the surrounding communities in the that develops its activities.
