Successful participation in Magnon’s 2024 call for aid in San Juan del Puerto with 33 projects received

Magnon Green Energy, a renewable energy subsidiary of the Ence Group, together with the San Juan del Puerto City Council, have closed the call for aid for 2024 with notable success in participation. This year, 33 initiatives have been presented that aspire to receive part of the 100,000 euros with which the company provides this collaboration framework annually.

Among the initiatives received, there are projects focused on promoting the local economy and improving the quality of life in San Juan del Puerto. Initiatives that promote education, culture and the reduction of the digital divide have also been received, and programs aimed at improving the health and well-being of vulnerable groups. Likewise, in this call there has been no shortage of projects that seek the conservation of natural heritage and the promotion of sustainable practices.

From now on, the monitoring committee of the framework agreement, made up of representatives of Magnon and the San Juan city council, will evaluate all applications to determine which initiatives deserve help in 2024. The evaluation and selection process will focus on identifying those initiatives that They better align with the spirit of the agreement, which is to positively impact the community of San Juan del Puerto, and also with the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations, another strategic interest of the two entities that promote this aid.

Once the evaluation is completed and compliance with the requirements expressed in the bases has been confirmed, the projects that will receive financing will be selected taking into account criteria of sustainability, innovation and community benefit. After that, the City Council of San Juan and Magnon will communicate the selection throughout the month of September 2024.
