Magnon Green Energy, a renewable energy subsidiary of the Ence – Energía y Celulosa group, today closed the sale of a photovoltaic park that has begun construction located in Andújar (Jaén), with a capacity of 100 MW, a transaction that has generated a collection of 27.7 million euros.
This sale and purchase is part of the asset rotation agreement announced in December 2021, consisting of the sale to Naturgy of photovoltaic assets located in Jaén, Huelva, Seville and Granada for a price of up to 62 million euros in total.
Through this transaction, the Ence Group company seeks to continue investing and growing in the renewable energy business and in support of the guarantee of supply of the electricity system. The Group’s vocation is, in fact, to continue diversifying and creating value within the renewable energy sector.
Following the sale and purchase closed today, the other photovoltaic parks that are part of this agreement and that will begin construction will also be sold to Naturgy during 2023 and the first half of 2024.
