Magnon Green Energy, a renewable energy subsidiary of the Ence Group, has renewed its commitment to the associative fabric of San Juan del Puerto in an event in which 25 local groups have signed agreements with the company to receive aid for projects of high social interest. With an annual endowment of 100,000 euros, the collaboration framework agreement that the company has maintained with the San Juan City Council since 2018, will allow this year to promote projects focused on the promotion of quality education, the defense of local culture, healthy habits and sport, social integration and direct aid to the most vulnerable population. The event, presided over by Magnon’s head of Purchasing, Jaime Rodríguez, and the mayoress of San Juan, Rocío Cárdenas, was attended by representatives of each of the beneficiary groups. This annual collaboration, consolidated as a key tool for community development, is one of the most solid reflections of Magnon’s commitment to the communities in which it operates, especially with projects that promote sustainability and social welfare. The beneficiaries range from associations supporting people with functional diversity to sports clubs and educational innovation projects. Each of these groups will contribute to improving life in the community in different ways, whether through cultural, sports or social activities. Jaime Rodríguez emphasized at the event that “for the company it is a structural value to promote initiatives that contribute to social and community development”. For her part, Rocío Cárdenas, mayor of San Juan del Puerto, highlighted the importance of this collaboration: “Every year, these grants reaffirm Magnon’s commitment to our town and will enable our groups to carry out projects that respond to the needs of San Juan and that are fundamental for the development and well-being of our community”.
