Ence’s Social Plan Closes Sixth Call with Nearly 400 Project Applications

  • Grassroots sport stands out with 156 projects. Over the past five editions, nearly 600 initiatives related to this field have been carried out thanks to the Social Plan.

Ence’s Social Plan in Pontevedra has concluded its sixth call for applications, with a budget of three million euros and a total of 382 initiatives submitted. This consolidates its position as one of the most significant private initiatives for sustainable development and social cohesion in the region.

The five most prominent areas of action have been: grassroots sport, with a total of 156 projects; education and culture, with 65 initiatives; environmental restoration and care, with 69 projects; social inclusion promotion, with 59 projects; and entrepreneurship and innovation, with 33 initiatives. These figures reflect the community’s firm commitment to environmental protection, social integration, and collective well-being.

The Monitoring Committee of the Environmental Agreement, made up of the Xunta de Galicia and Ence, will oversee the evaluation and selection process for the Social Plan projects. Meanwhile, the specialised consultancy Valora will coordinate the detailed analysis of all submitted applications.

Results Timeline

Ence will announce the results and the successful projects during the fourth quarter of 2025. The full list of submitted projects will be available on the Social Plan website: http://plansocialence.es Each applicant will receive an individual notification with the corresponding evaluation.

Over 1,400 Projects Supported

Over the years, Ence’s Social Plan in Pontevedra has supported more than 1,400 projects. In doing so, it has contributed to improving the quality of life of citizens and the conditions of many groups at risk of social exclusion in Pontevedra and its surrounding area.
