Ence obtains the Great Place to Work Certification

Ence-Energía y Celulosa, a company belonging to the manufacturing industrial sector, has obtained the Certification as a Great Place to Work, granted by the consulting firm Great Place to Work®, a leader in the identification and certification of Excellent Places to Work.

After a diagnosis of the organizational environment, which includes a global employee questionnaire, the company has obtained this certification that certifies that Ence is an organization with a culture of high trust, capable of attracting and retaining talent. Thus, 8 out of 10 employees believe that the company is a Great Place to Work, a figure that places the company above the industry average.

Specifically, the results of the survey reveal the special assessment that its professionals make of the fair treatment they receive regardless of their gender, race or sexual condition – endorsed by an average of 90% of Ence’s human team – and the contribution that the company realizes society —valued by 85% of professionals—; among other issues. Likewise, 90% of employees state that they would like to work at Ence for a long time.

The management of human capital in Ence has among its strategic objectives to promote Diversity and Equal Opportunities, through an equality plan that includes, among others, actions aimed at reducing the gender pay gap and increasing the percentage of women in the workforce.

In this way, Ence has increased the number of women in the workforce by 13.2% during the third quarter of 2020 compared to 2019 and managed to close the 2019 financial year with a zero salary gap in its workforce, a figure that represents a milestone in the industrial sector.

The contribution to society, highlighted in the survey by employees, is the result of Ence’s orientation towards the development of the communities in which it operates, through the establishment of effective channels of dialogue and the implementation of relationship plans that contemplate actions of various kinds.
