Ence Pontevedra today held the ceremony of delivery of aid to entrepreneurship and innovation projects that have been selected in the call for the Social Plan of the company in Pontevedra.
Representatives of the 27 winning projects have come to the facilities of the Lourizán biofactory, where the signing of the agreement that will allow the immediate implementation of projects has taken place.
For the company, one of the main objectives of the Social Plan is to contribute to promoting entrepreneurship and innovation in the Pontevedra region, as a lever for sustainable economic growth.
The Ence Social Plan’s programme to boost entrepreneurship will make it possible to promote and support a series of initiatives that will contribute to the creation of jobs and foster the employability of young people from Pontevedra. It will also help to consolidate economic activities rooted in Pontevedra, Poio and Marín – as is the case of shellfishing – but which still have a strong potential for growth.
The Ence programme also deals with the improvement and digital implementation of the different services of the beneficiary institutions.
27 projects committed to Pontevedra
Among the entities that will receive Ence’s support are SITRAV ATS, S.L., the Mar Seguro Association, the Pontevedra Business Association and the Clúster da Madeira de Galicia, among others.
The Ence Pontevedra Social Plan demonstrates the company’s commitment to its environment, which is also evident through the air and water of the Pontevedra estuary, whose high quality shows how the activity of the Ence biofactory, respectful and careful with the environment, is fully compatible with sustainability.
