Ence-Energía y Celulosa will be one of the main sponsors of the San Juan Futsal Sports Club during the 2019-2020 season. The three teams of the entity – youth, provincial and third division – will move through Andalusia to play their matches thanks to this help from the company, which is part of the Collaboration Agreement between Ence and the town hall of San Juan del Puerto.
The presentation of the new kits with the image of the company was chaired by the deputy mayor of the town, Miguel Beltrán, and also had the presence of the Councilor for Sports, Education and Youth, Penelope Jiménez. The sports club valued the company’s support during this year, as well as that of other entities in the area since, in their opinion, it is essential to maintain their competition activity, but also in education in values and momentum of life habits Healthy among local youth.
Twenty-one groups in San Juan del Puerto will benefit from the Agreement signed between Ence and the City Council of the Huelva town, thanks to the help provided with 100,000 euros to promote social, cultural and sports initiatives that contribute to employment, to the improvement environmental and quality and improvement of the living conditions of its inhabitants.
The agreement, which will benefit more than 5,000 people, will in turn contribute to financing initiatives such as the purchase of pedal boats destined for the sports area of the town’s pier, social projects, aimed at strengthening equality – such as the Association of Housewives–, popular activities in the natural environment of San Juan, or the start-up of a school garden, in which it is already one of the largest corporate social responsibility initiatives of a private company in the area.
