Ence Pontevedra has celebrated today the act of awarding the aid to the projects of recovery and care of the environment that have been selected in the call for the Social Plan of the company in Pontevedra. Representatives of the 52 awarded projects have attended the biofactory facilities in Lourizán, where the act of signing the agreement for the award of aid has taken place, which will allow the immediate start-up of the projects.
The projects presented to said area of action will develop activities whose purpose is the recovery and defense of the rural environment. This is an area of special interest for the company, which is demonstrated every day through the environmental excellence of its operation.
The 52 projects selected within the category of recovery and care of the environment cover a wide range of projects that work from the recovery of green paths to awareness projects towards nature and recycling. All this betting on and promoting respectful coexistence between man and the environment in the Councils of Pontevedra, Poio and Marín.
This help line will allow entities in the region, such as the Estrela de Marín Local Shopping Center Association, the Community of Montes de Lourido, the Community of Montes Vecinales de Verducido de Pontevedra or Properdis, to reinforce their support for caring for the environment and their recovery, which patents the strong commitment that Ence makes in environmental care.
The Ence Pontevedra Social Plan thus demonstrates the company’s commitment to its environment, which is also evident through the air and water of the Ría de Pontevedra, whose high quality shows how the activity of the Ence biofactory, respectful and careful with the environment, it is fully compatible with sustainability.
