After the success of the last edition of the course for forest trainers of processors and self-loaders, Ence has decided to promote a new course, in its eagerness to develop and professionalize the sector, as well as to continue improving occupational safety.
This course, taught by the Forma-t Group and totally free for students, tries to respond to the high demand of machinists of forest processors and self-loaders, a growing profession with a lack of professionals.
The last edition, which had more than 200 requests for access to the course, ended last January. Nine of the fifteen students who participated in the course are already working for leading forestry companies in the sector as forest machinists.
After the great reception that this course obtained, the new edition will last 2 months. It will be taught in Villalba (Lugo) from March to May 2020.
The students will learn the theoretical foundations for the handling of the machinery and its maintenance and will practice in a state-of-the-art simulator and in professional machines.
This training is aimed at all those employed or unemployed people interested in starting work as a forester, without previous experience in processors and self-loading. Those interested can get information or sign up for the course via telephone 982 513 605, email info@grupoforma-t.es or by entering the website www.formacionforestal-es.webnode.es.
This course for foresters is part of the Ence Social Plan in Pontevedra, one of the largest social initiatives carried out by a private company in Spain. In its third edition, the company will allocate 3 million euros to promote 290 projects to support education and culture; boost to entrepreneurship and innovation; recovery and care of the environment; grassroots sport support; and fight against social exclusion, among other areas of action.
