Ence’s biofactory in Pontevedra has received financial aid of € 1,602,000 within the line of energy saving and efficiency aid in SMEs and large companies in the industrial sector, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), and managed by IDEA under the National Energy Efficiency Fund, with the aim of achieving a cleaner and more sustainable economy.
The project (with number FN-PGESI-2018-002696) has been called “Energy optimization in LN water evaporation system for recovery boiler”. Thus, an energy saving and efficiency project has been drawn up consisting of improving the LN recovery boiler, improving steam generation performance. The collaboration of the best equipment manufacturers in the sector has been required, which have contributed great energy and environmental savings in the process, achieving an estimated saving of 4,486.01 toe / year.
