Ence closes cellulose sales contracts for 1.1 million tons by 2020

Ence Energía y Celulosa already has closed cellulose sales contracts for a volume of 1,1 million tons for the year 2020, equivalent to the production capacity of its paper pulp biofactories.

Most of the sales agreements reached are destined for Europe, a market that offers the highest sales margins and in which Ence has strong competitive logistic and service advantages.

The success of the closing of the sales of the firm is based on the high quality of its cellulose, as well as on the flexibility of production, which makes possible a greater adaptation to the needs of paper companies. In addition, the logistical capacity of the company and its greater proximity to European customers allows Ence to benefit from a “just in time” service strategy that favors its solid penetration in the continent.

The cellulose of Ence’s biofactories in Navia and Pontevedra is accredited for being produced with the highest standards of respect for the environment. Thus, both biofactories have the Nordic Swan environmental ecolabel (official ecolabel of the Nordic countries) and that of Pontevedra also has the European Union Gold Distinction for its environmental improvement.
