Global warming has become a widespread concern in our society, with increasingly evident effects on our daily lives. Since the signing of the Paris Agreement, we have gained a clear awareness of the importance of mitigating greenhouse gas emissions to combat climate change. One of the most crucial measures to achieve this mitigation is to increase the presence of carbon sinks on Earth. At ENCE, not only have we been engaged for years in sustainable forest management of our forest stands, but we also carry out afforestation and restoration activities in our forests. In this way, we are increasing the area of carbon sinks, thus contributing our small but significant effort in the fight against climate change. Our commitment is reflected in the registration of the sinks we generate in the Spanish Climate Change Office. Any company interested in offsetting its carbon footprint can consult our absorption projects in the registry of the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, or contact us directly for more information. We are committed to transparency and ready to collaborate on concrete actions for a sustainable future. The company is currently working on the following carbon sink projects:
